Nicole Myler
Director and Principal
Nicole became an equity owner in 2023.
Nicole has over 25 years’ experience in property across the Eastern
States and the Northern Territory. She also practices in estate
planning, Probate and estate administration and particularly complex
estate planning structures.
Nicole has a down to earth, friendly approach to all matters. Her parents operated
businesses their entire lives and always came with the approach of don’t ask someone to do
something you are not prepared to do yourself. Nicole also applies that attitude.
While in the Territory, Nicole acted predominately in transactions for residential and
commercial properties including marina berths, family law property settlements and
deceased estate transfers. The nature of this work requires great attention to detail and an
understanding of the complexities that can arise when transferring property. Prior to that
time, Nicole assisted in major commercial transactions, including for developers, commercial
shopping centres, pharmacies and franchises.
Nicole was awarded REINT 2020 Conveyancer of the Year for professional excellence. Her
practice in Northern Territory – Platinum Conveyancing NT, works closely with Bridge Legal
who acts on legal matters for Platinum’s clients and Bridge Legal refers all NT conveyancing
matters to Platinum for specialised services.
Nicole was an active member on the boards of the Northern Territory and National Australian
Institutes of Conveyancers from 2010-2021, working with the National Board through the
introduction of PEXA within Australia. Nicole believes in continually updating skills to be
aware of relevant changes in legislation and practises. Nicole was instrumental in the
preparation and implementation of a continuing educational and professional development
program for licensed conveyancers in the Northern Territory, completion of which resulted in
accreditation of Certified Practising Conveyancers.
From 2015-2020 Nicole was also a member of the Northern Territory Agent’s Licensing
Board, the authority responsible for governing licensed conveyancers which included
investigating allegations about licensed conveyancers and if required, holding disciplinary
inquiries into conduct.
Nicole completed a law degree at Charles Darwin University, Graduate Diploma of Legal
Practice, Legal Practice Management Course and holds a principal practising certificate.
Deborah Boardman
Senior Solicitor

Deborah Boardman
Deb has been in the legal professional since 1994 having worked her way from receptionist to paralegal in large firms in Newcastle, NSW for the first 13 years of her career. After having her two beautiful daughters she relocated to a mid-tier firm in Tumut, located in the Snowy Mountains. It was in this smaller rural town that she was able to realise her dream of completing her law degree whilst working full time. It was also at this firm that she gained her experience and love of property law and conveyancing when she worked under the firm’s accredited property specialist gaining valuable knowledge in all aspects of that area of law. A natural progression for Deb was to move into estate planning and subsequent estate work as a compliment to her property law and conveyancing work. In rural areas, succession planning is crucial in allowing older members of the family being able to downsize to a suburban property whilst ensuring the viability of the family farm through the younger generations. Working with clients and their accountants to achieve this through estate planning to minimise any tax implications to family members and the farming business was particularly rewarding for Deb. She also assisted all levels of clients with estate planning from young couples buying their first home to complex Will matters of blended families and testamentary trusts to give client’s peace of mind that their estate would be distributed per their wishes.
Deb can assist clients with:
The conveyancing process in New South Wales, Victoria and Western Australia.
Explanation and witnessing of Self-Managed Super Fund loan documents and guarantees.
Preparation of loan documents and registration of mortgages.
Intergenerational and/or interrelated transfers.
Estate planning, powers of attorney and medical guardianships.
Probate and estate administration.
