About Emma
Emma joined Bridge Legal in 2013 and has practiced in the areas of property law and conveyancing, estate planning, the preparation of Bare Trust deeds as well as explanation and witnessing of Self Management Super Fund loan documents and bank guarantees for lenders.
Prior to joining Bridge Legal, Emma lived in Townsville for 21 years where she completed her law degree at James Cook University. Whilst studying in Townsville Emma undertook 1 day a week voluntary work experience at Sarinas Legal where she gained exposure to property and conveyancing work.
Emma fast tracked her university degree and completed early in August 2012 following which she moved to Sydney and completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law. During this time Emma completed her mandatory legal experience prior to being admitted by working full time in a voluntary position at a suburban law firm Annandale Lawyers where she gained exposure and experience with NSW conveyancing and property work.
Upon completion of her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice Emma joined the Sydney Bridge Legal team and was admitted to practice in December 2013.
In January 2016, due to the fast growing expansion of Bridge Legal, Emma was offered the opportunity to move to Queensland and become the principal of the newly established Brisbane office.
Emma can assist clients with:
- the conveyancing process in Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia, Victoria and Tasmania
- drafting wills, power of attorney and enduring guardianships
- preparation of Bare Trust Deeds and rectification and amendment deeds in order to meet each individual lenders requirement for SMSF loans
- explanation and witnessing of Self Managed Super Fund loan documents and bank guarantees
